Picture 1 – Stone slabs, from offcuts, laid out near the front door to check that they fit before being laid.

Picture 2 – More stone slabs, destined for external paving to the side of the house and on the patio to the south.

Picture 3 – Patio, linear rainwater soakaway and low garden wall under construction to the south of the house.

Picture 4 – A pile of building stone which was reclaimed and stockpiled to build garden walls at the entrance, along the frontage and elsewhere.

Picture 5 – Paving laid to the north of the house, before starting on the rainwater soakaway and low garden wall beyond it.

The render became splashed before the paving was laid around the house and needed a good clean.
